Driftwood Cottage by Sherryl Woods

Over at Socrates’ Book Review, there’s a doozy up for grabs. It’s Driftwood Cottage, and it was written by Sherryl Woods. Why is it a doozy? I don’t know. I like the cover and the synopsis. And it’s the fifth in a beloved series. Really, what more do you want or need?

Read the rules, and follow them or your entry will be chucked out the nearest open window.

This is a Usual Rules contest — US and Canada only, and no PO Boxes allowed to enter. Or be part of the address.

The deadline is April 9. Get busy!

Day of Honey by Annia Ciezadlo

Did you really think I could go without posting more from Luxury Reading? After all, I declared today to be Luxury Reading day.

Now we’ve got three copies of a memoir about life in the Middle East. Day of Honey, it’s called, and it was written by Annia Ciezadlo. Annia. That’s a pretty name, isn’t it?

This is a US only give, with a deadline of April 8.

Three at Dan’s Journal!

You’ll have to go fast because this one ends tomorrow, Friday April 1. Ugh. April Fool’s Day. NOT looking forward to it this year.

Anyway, Dan hasn’t given anything away in awhile and his shelves are starting to be a bit cramped. He thought he would pass these three on:
All That’s True by Jackie Lee Miles
When The Thrill Is Gone by Walter Mosley
Breach of Trust by David Ellis

One winner, three books. And do I see Walter Mosley in here???? Good stuff.

This is a US-only contest. And like I said, go fast!

The Four Ms. Bradwells by Meg Waite Clayton

Okay, I’m out of things to say, other than today might be all about Luxury Reading and nothing else. I’m not sure yet; it’ll depend on how long I can be sitting.

Now we’ve got a lone, single copy of the new one from Meg Waite Clayton, The Four Ms. Bradwells. I’m not sure of the title because the four seem to not be related, but maybe you’ve got to read it to know.

This is a US/Canada only contest (notice how it was only the non-fiction we weren’t letting out of the country. I wonder what that says) with a deadline of April 8. Have fun!

Pops! Sweets on a Stick

I want to be Vera. I do. She manages to accomplish a TON. I need to be able to do that.

Now she’s got FIVE copies of Pops! Sweets on a Stick to share with US friends only. Not sure what a Pops is, other than a breakfast cereal? Not sure why we’d put them on a stick; I mean, they are awfully small.

Ha. Check out the review. Enter to win one of the copies. Spend a rainy day with your kids, hard at work.

You know… that’s not a bad idea. My kids are off tomorrow… Hmm….

The deadline on this one is April 8. It won’t help me whose kids are off tomorrow, but it’ll be good to have for rainy summer days!

Nutrition Diva’s Secrets for a Healthy Diet by Monica Reinagel

And still more from Vera and the gang at Luxury Reading!

I may need this one. After all, a healthy diet is the cornerstone of a healthy person, right?

Two copies of the Nutrition Diva’s Secrets for a Healthy Diet are up for grabs. It sounds like it has great tips in it, but that cover’s a bit too cartoony to be truly diva-ish. Diva-esque? Whatever. It’s a cover. What’s important is what’s inside.

This is a US-only contest — sorry, gang. Enter by April 8.

Radio Shangri-La by Lisa Napoli

More from Luxury Reading! Vera’s been very busy while I’ve been fighting with my body and the pharmacy.

Now, two hardcover (!) copies of Lisa Napoli’s new book, Radio Shangri-La, are up for grabs. This is an interesting-sounding memoir, so if that’s your thing, check it out.

This is a US/Canada only contest, and its deadline is April 8.

Jane Eyre

Yes, I’m not kidding. Because Jane Eyre is now a movie, publishers are giving away copies of this classic novel.

Vera at Luxury Reading is leading the charge. She’s got two copies to share with friends in the US or Canada. Lots of bonus entries are around, as always. And the deadline’s April 8, as well. That’s not so far off, you know. Don’t delay!
