You know, every now and then, I come across a book whose title makes me REALLY hope it’s a children’s book.
Such is the case with Who Said Coo?
Lucky for me, I’m right (this time). Check it out over at Simply Stacie’s; it’s a cute book and there’s a link to click through to read the review. Educate yourself; don’t the kids in your life deserve that??
One copy is up for grabs, in a US/Canada only give. As always, there are a bunch of bonus entries and a deadline — this time, it’s October 12.

Over at Book Sp(l)ot Reviews, there’s all sorts of talk today about Ivy Devlin’s Low Red Moon. Know what else there is besides just talk?
A give!
Oh, wait. There’s also more talk — in the form of an interview. You guys know how much I love interviews. (uhh, I hope that lacked my usual sarcasm ’cause it really is true. I love interviews. Giving them AND reading them. What a great way to get to know an author.)
Okay, back to the give. One copy of Low Red Moon is up for grabs. This is a US-only give, and it excludes any winners who rely on PO Boxes so their mail actually arrives, let alone arrives within a reasonable timeframe. Ends October 13 and since you’re all readers, I’ll let you read the deets of entry. I mean, heck. You’ll be on a roll after you read the interview. Why NOT keep going???

Vera at Luxury Reading is embracing the e-book revolution!
You guys know I’m a big fan of e-books. One day, someone will hand me the perfect reader and I’ll leave the glare and overly bright screen of my iPod behind (nope, the size doesn’t bother me).
So here’s what’s cooking at Luxury Reading. Best of all, since e-books don’t have to go through any country’s postal system, these gives are open world-wide!
First is an eBook of Shadow Dancer by Courtney Rene. Enter before 10/8
Then we have THREE eBooks of Broken Angels by Anne Hope. Enter by 10/8
Each link will take you directly to the contest pages. They really will. I used them, myself.

Katrina at Stone Soup has a debut this week. Nope, she didn’t find it at Number One Novels, either. (The nerve! Rebecca’s got such cool finds.)
Here’s what she says:
For next week, I have Love in Mid Air by Kim Wright. Despite the title, this is NOT a romance. It’s about a suburban wife and mother whose life is thrown into upheaval when a stranger on an airplane suggests they have an affair.
There ya go. As always, her gives are open to anyone on the planet who has reliable mail service. Stop in for the rest of the rules and how to enter.

From Rebecca Chastain at Number One Novels:
This week Number One Novel interviews debut author D.E. Johnson about his novel, The Detroit Electric Scheme. This mystery novel takes place in 1910, revolving around the early electric (and gas) car business, and includes man real-life characters of the industry and “of the sordid underbelly of the Motor City, such as Vito Adamo, Detroit’s first Mob boss, and Big Boy, the 6’4”, 260-pound bouncer at a saloon so notorious the newspapers called it “The Bucket of Blood.”
Two autographed copies are up for grabs, but only through October 3.
