Cleopatra’s Daughter

Yep, Cleopatra’s Daughter is in high demand! Thanks to author Michelle Moran for showing us how this new media thing works.

You book collectors* are going to love this one. An autographed hardback, first-edition copy of Cleopatra’s Daughter is up for grabs over at Caribou’s Mom.

You’ll have to work a bit to earn your entry, but it’s worth it. This is, once again, an international give — I’m starting to think Ms. Moran’s made of money. I am jealous. You international people are over the moon, I’m sure.

So. Enter yourself before September 9. Get busy!

*A Book collector is someone who collects first-editions of books, with our without autographs. They put these books on their shelves and include them in their wills. Their children then sell them to men and women who own stores full of collectible books. The kids get lots of money. The store owners get huge bragging rights.

You’ll notice the above description does NOT involve the idea of eBay or making a quick buck. A true book collector is in it for the long term; it’s an investment in literacy.
