Julie and Julia

I don’t understand this need to turn a book into a movie. Other than To Die For, which used a sight gag that made the movie better than the book, the books are always better. Always. (well, except for that one. One. Out of hundreds. Do the math.)

Now, one good thing about turning books into movies is that people buy the book. They’ve got to know what the fuss is about. It’s just too bad they need a movie to get themselves to a bookstore…

Anyway, you don’t need a bookstore. Not today. Not with The Eclectic Book Hoarder helping you. She’s got five copies of Julie and Julia, the memoir written by Julie Powell — for US and Canadian friends (NO PO BOXES).

There are ways to gain extra entries. Take advantage. Share your copy with a friend outside of the US or Canada; they’ll be grateful forever.

Here’s the link.
