Becoming Beauty

Luxury Reading has a new beauty book/beauty products giveaway. In addition to some nice beauty products, Vera’s giving away Dimitri James’ book, Becoming Beauty. This book is brimming with tips and tricks on everything from skincare and cosmetics to diets and styling advice. At times, the book does read like a mere advertisement for his line of SKINN products, but the homemade skincare recipes, insider’s advice and detailed make-up application instructions make Becoming Beauty worthwhile.

Click here to stop by and see what she’s got to offer.

Monday Book Giveaway

At Stone Soup, it’s time once again to play “Clear My Shelf”. Stop by and see Katrina’s giveaway shelf, crammed full again!

Stop by and study the shelf and choose one book that you’d like to have. Your odds of actually getting it are much higher if you choose a book no one else has picked.

Next Monday, she’ll start choosing names from one of her hats.

Stop by Stone Soup to see the rest of the rules and to enter. I think I’m even going to enter this one!

The Bourne Deception (Audio)

Yeah, I’m still puzzled over the whole Bourne Deception and Eric Van Lustbader connection. I think I will remain this way. It’s sort of a fuzzy state of mind and … sort of comfortable.

Anyway, if you care a lot less than I do and if you like to listen to your books, head on over to Today’s Adventure for a chance to win one of three copies of The Bourne Deception. This a US/Canada/No PO Box contest, and you have until July 15.

Swimsuit (audio)

What? You thought that now that it’s officially summer, we’re done with the Swimsuits?

Nope. At least not when it comes to the James Patterson and Maxine Paetro version. Add in an audio version this time and you know what’s up for grabs over at Today’s Adventure.

Three copies of Swimsuit. US/Canada/No PO Boxes.

And a great excuse to visit with your hostess, NotNessie. Tell her I said hi. I dig her.

The Iron Hunt

You can always count on Marjorie M. Liu for awesome books. Or so I’m told; she’s another author I have yet to experience for myself (stupid TBR…).

We can also always count on Bibliophiles R Us for news of great books. Today’s no exception, as there’s a copy of The Iron Hunt — written by Ms. Liu, of course — up for grabs. There are also some goodies thrown in, so be sure to check them out.

The sort-of bad news is that this is a US-only contest. The good news is that us PO Box holders ARE eligible to enter. Thanks to our Bibliophile friends for taking on the costs of shipping this book out!

LOTS of ways to gain extra entries. LOTS. Check ‘em all out and take advantage before July 14.

Her Ladyship’s Companion

Number One Novels is at it again!

At what?

Sharing news of debut novels, of course!

Author Evangeline Collins has stopped in to discuss Her Ladyship’s Companion. Be sure to read it, not just blindly enter the contest! We authors don’t take the time to do interviews just so no one can read them!

This is a US/Canada contest and you have to enter by July 5.

100th Review Mega Giveaway

Whoa. One hundred reviews. That’s quite a lot of time and effort!

It’s our friend the Tome Traveller who’s reached such a landmark, and believe me, that’s nothing to sneeze at. (Especially because when I do venture into reviewing, it takes me about a week to get ‘em the way I want them.)

This is one of the biggest gives I think I’ve ever seen. As a result of its sheer size, this will be a US-only contest. And as a result of its sheer size, there are some pecularities to the entry rules.

Prime Time

It’s not often that I get into the book giveaway game. But… as I’ve said before, Hank Phillippi Ryan’s a friend. And her books (Prime Time and Face Time) have been languishing on Mt. TBR with everything else. No wonder I itch every time I walk past that thing. I want to read everything on it. BADLY.

Giving away a copy of her re-released Prime Time was an EXCELLENT way to get me to dig it out of the mountain.

Stop on over to the Meet and Greet and enter yourselves for a copy of Prime Time with the sexy new cover. This is a US-only contest ’cause Hank’s footing the postage bill, and you have to enter by next Tuesday, July 7.
